How it began . . .

I fell in love with the Destiny Card System decades ago. I was living the Midwest at the time. One September day as I walked downtown, a huge crowd had gathered. Curious, I joined them to see what all the fuss was about. Together, we watched the demolition of a beloved landmark building. 

A woman next to me whom I had never before met started chatting, and out of the blue the subject turned to astrology.  She told me about a system based on the cards.   Yes, regular playing cards. And it’s hard to explain but there was something about the demolition I was witnessing combined with the system about which I was hearing that struck in me an almost mystical chord. As I say, I can’t explain it, but at the time it seemed as though the building falling down was achieving a kind of resurrection through my rising understanding of this occult knowledge. 

Being a lover of card games, I was fascinated.  I delved into it wholeheartedly, looking up the card for everyone I knew and everyone I met. I was hooked.  And the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn.

I discovered that the Destiny Card System dates back more than 20,000 years, kept secret by mystics during each evolving civilization until the late 19th Century, when an aficionado finally elected to share it. A powerful and insightful system that can predict and offer explanations and understanding, it is a unique combination of numerology, astrology, and the science of cards.  But how do playing cards measure up to astrology?  Simply put, your Destiny Card Report provides information that is not always readily available in astrology. It adds precision, specificity and considerably more individualization. They are not rivals bur rather each one enriches the other. 

Just like a regular deck of playing cards, there are 52 cards. (Just like there are 52 weeks in a year.)  And of course, there are four suits (Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades).  And don’t forget about the joker (a wild card that is unpredictable). Each year is divided into seven periods that chronologically advance in the Card system.  Each one lasts 52 days and is influenced by a playing card. 

Your birth card never changes, but each year will bring a new planetary ruler assigned to you. It changes as the year changes, as do the cards assigned to you through the seven periods of each year.  And what makes it even more fascinating, there is a different card assigned to you for every day of the year.  

Sound complicated? Not so much after your report is assigned, for it is written in simple, easy-to-understand language. You will discover that each card has a positive and a negative side.  You decide how to operate and steer these energies by the choices you make moment to moment.
